About John P. Thielman
I began my legal career as an Assistant District Attorney, then became a personal injury litigator. I held a Managing Attorney position at two Fortune 100 corporations, and was Chief Counsel for one of them. I’m licensed to practice law in Georgia, Florida, New York, Massachusetts, and in the US District Courts of the Western District of NY and the Middle District of Florida (federal courts).
All of this experience puts me in a unique position to prepare my clients – individuals, families and businesses – for life’s many personal and business legal risks, most of which they are dangerously unaware. My greatest professional satisfaction comes from helping clients identify and mitigate their legal risks before they turn into full-blown legal problems. In the event a legal matter has already resulted in a lawsuit and a client’s energies need to be elsewhere, I’m uniquely qualified to get the parties laser-focused on the issues so that costs and headaches are reduced.
The bottom line is, there are legal risks that can threaten your quality of life and your livelihood if not successfully navigated. They can sap your resources and your peace of mind. I’d like to work with you to help you identify and understand those risks, then manage, reduce and quickly resolve them.
I thoroughly enjoy teaching law and ethics at Georgia State University. For more information, see my GSU page.
